That one's behind a door.

You typed the address right — your email just isn't on the list yet. Getting on it takes one message, not a purchase order.

Open these instead, right now

Open to anyone — no email, no account, nothing to install. Nothing below asks you for anything.

  • AHD Trainer — artificial high directionals, portable and off your aerial. Know the parts, build the rig, see where the load lands.
  • Flow Path Analyzer — open a door and watch the air pick its route. Still beta, and it says so.
  • The free Playbook — all 27 plays from a made-up department. Rewrite them into your own and download the book.

Why that one is gated

Cognition runs on one real department's calls, radio traffic and SOPs. The Playbook is that department's own book, and the two technical rescue trainers are built on its gear and procedures. That material isn't mine to hand out to anyone who finds the URL, so those sit behind an email gate and I add people myself.

It is not a paywall and there is nothing to buy. Ask and you're very likely on it.

Ask

Tell me who you are and where you ride. That's the whole bar. Once you're on, the door takes a Google sign-in or a six-digit code — no account, no password either way.

Ask for access or email info@fireground.training

One thing worth knowing: the Google button only works if the address I put on the list is your Google address. A department or Hotmail address gets the code instead.

Who you're emailing

Evan Giesing, a career fire lieutenant. I build these on my own time because the training I wanted didn't exist. More about that, and the rest of the apps.
